welcome

Grace Feltoe is an Australian/Maltese soprano and sacred music specialist, from Perth, Western Australia. She studied at the University of Western Australia majoring in Music Studies and Specialist Music Studies (Piano Performance), which included strong choral and vocal training in the English tradition, leading to professional ensembles. Since 2015, Grace assumed the role of cantor for various parishes in Perth, including St Mary’s Cathedral, St Patrick’s Basilica, St Paul’s Church, Divine Mercy Church, and New Norcia Benedictine Monastery, with whom she released a sacred music CD ‘Adoro Te’, with Fr Robert Nixon, OSB.

Grace was formerly co-director of the St Elizabeth of the Trinity Choir at Sacred Heart Church, as well as director of the Chapel Choir at the University of Notre Dame in Perth.

Further studies include a Certificate in Theology specialising in liturgy through the University of Notre Dame, Indiana.

As a performer, Grace has much experience as a soloist for stage and concerts in a variety of productions and performances, with now a passion for early and sacred music. She is also a piano and vocal teacher, having taught in well-regarded schools and from her private studio in-person and online.

In composition, Grace wrote her first Latin Mass setting ‘Mass of St Maximilian Kolbe’, parts of which were premiered in 2022, and now fully released and available on the website in 2024.

Moving to Portugal in 2022, Grace became involved with the Dominican Liturgical Centre in Krakow, assisting in her first workshop of Polish Dominican music at the Rosary Shrine in London.

2023 brought Grace launching the sacred music resource website ‘Gloria Dei – the Musica Sacra Project’ to help with the revitalisation of traditional sacred music internationally.

She is also further involved with the Dominican Liturgical Centre in Krakow, for the Extraordinary Music Workshop, and the Rosary Shrine in London in 2023, while being involved in Catholic and secular performances in Portugal.

Very passionate about faith, morals and the Church in all aspects of life, ‘State of Grace’ is a blog where Grace may share thoughts and information, as a small corner of a greater website.
